Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has, in a communication dated September 12, 2006 on the captioned subject, inter alia advised IDBI to:

a) "ensure that your (IDBI's) members, depositors or other creditors have an opportunity of acquainting themselves with the Draft Scheme of Amalgamation. For this purpose, you may prominently exhibit a copy of the Scheme at your offices along with the following notice:
(Quote) "If any member, depositor or creditor has any suggestions / obligations in regard to the above Draft Scheme, he may forward them to the Chief General Manger-in Charge, Department of Banking Operations & Development, Reserve Bank of India, Central Office, NCOB, Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, Mumbai – 400 021, so as to reach the said office by the close of business on September 27, 2006". (Unquote)

b) make available copies of the Draft Scheme to such of your members, depositors or creditors who may make a request in this regard.
